Open Letter to the National Hockey League

Dear Powers that be of the National Hockey League,

As a conserned fan of both American and Canadian hockey, this lokout has got to end. It is not helping the sport, the teams, or even the fans. In fact, the $250,000,000 you guys lost in the month-long lockout has got to be reason enough to want to come to a swift, yet fair agreement, doesn’t it?

I am not an owner of a team, not do I hold any clout with the NHL, but soley as a fan, I have come up with a way to solve this hockey-related-revinew problem: 53-52-51-50-50-50 for as long as this CBA is dealt.

I know the Internet would have you believe that the owners, Mr. Bettman, and the NHL are all “Scrooge-esc”, but I do not believe that. I believe that all owners just want a little bit more, if not for themselves, then for the better of the team.

Please, end this lockout. For the fans? Thank you
